Who Can Play

Any local child (boy or girl) at any age

Monday and Thursday Nights 6:15pm onwards

How Much

Players are required to pay for the season. See the QIHC website

Is it Safe?

Ice Hockey is incredibly safe when supervised and the correct protective gear is worn

Local children can join the QIHC with no previous ice hockey experience.

Watch as their playing level advances and they move through the age grades from Kiwi to Peewee and then on to Midgets and then Juniors.

After that they'll be looking to play for the local team the Southern Stampede in the NZIHL league; the top level in New Zealand ice hockey. Who knows, like many Queenstown locals, they may even represent New Zealand at international competitions playing for the famous Ice Blacks.
